Toddler Toys
As any parent will tell you, the average toddler has two speeds; full speed ahead, and asleep. While they’re awake everything is new and needs to be explored, and toddler toys are designed to take advantage of this natural curiosity. They are meant to be used as both a way to develop the mind, as well as the body.
There are a wide variety of toddler toys currently on the market. Bathtub toys, plush toys, travel toys, games and puzzles can all be found in most local toy stores. In most cases, they can be purchased relatively inexpensively.
Toddler toys are often designed to be educational. Puzzles and games are a great way to teach the alphabet and counting, and are often used for this purpose well into elementary school. Other toys are intended to teach things such as shapes and colors.
